Trinity Presbyterian Church is a place for service |
|
Just as Jesus Christ came not to be served but to serve, we accept our responsibility to reflect the love and humble servanthood of Jesus by reaching out in service to others. Trinity is involved in several local mission activities through the voluntary service of its members and with direct financial support. We also offer members a variety of ways in which to be involved in denominational and world-wide missions. Some of the ministries through which we touch people are: Lowndes Associated Ministries to People (LAMP) The Haven (Home for Battered Women) New Horizons (Homeless Shelter) Community Soup Kitchen Break Bread Together (Home-delivered meals for the elderly) American Red Cross Literacy Volunteers Migrant Worker Ministry Habitat for Humanity The Heifer Project One Great Hour of Sharing Quitman Presbyterian Home Christmas Project for Needy Families Second Harvest Food Bank |
