“Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, His praise in the assembly of the faithful.” Psalm 149:1

Trinity Presbyterian Church is a place to glorify God through music. Music is an integral part of our church and especially in the Sunday 11:00 a.m. Worship Service. Music reflects our common faith and beliefs and gives voice to our praise of God. Our music program provides various opportunities for adults, youth, and children to share their musical gifts as an offering to the glory of God. |

This is the major choir at Trinity, composed of adults and high school students. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:15 p.m. The choir sings at the 11:00 a.m. worship service and performs various concerts during the year. Prior singing experience is not a requirement, but would be helpful. |

Guest musicians make regular appearances at Trinity, playing for performances of Messiah, John Rutter’s Magnificat and Requiem, the Bach Magnificat and other special worship services and special events centered around the church calendar. Most of the time these are professional musicians who are members of the music faculty at Valdosta State University. |

Trinity is fortunate to have a music internship program for students from VSU. They do not necessarily need to be music majors to participate in this unique program. |
